
| What are your business hours? We are open for drop-offs and pickups Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. only. You will have a 30 minute grace period in which to pick up your dog. Daycare dog's not picked up by 6:30 p.m. will be held over for pick up the next day and Owners will be charged the nightly rate. Overnight guests must be picked up by 10 a.m. Owners will be charged the day rate for dogs not picked up by 10 a.m. Why can't I drop off or pick up my dog outside of your business hours? I can just let them into your backyard? You need to remember that our business is in our home and we still need to have our off-time. But more importantly than that, we feed dogs at 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and we need time to feed each overnight guest individually without the distraction of dogs coming and going. Each time a dog shows up the dogs get excited and tend to become distracted from eating. It takes a lot of time to settle dogs back down after visitors arrive. Dogs also bark when people come and go and because we respect our neighbors, we will adhere to this policy and not take dogs before or after our business hours. Finally, we prefer clients not open our gates to the backyard, as a dog might get let out. We want to maintain that responsibility. What schedule is our dog required to follow? We do not have rigorous schedules to follow; with the exception of feeding times. There’s total freedom to run and play whenever it strikes your puppy’s fancy and there is also ample rest time too. We always make time for love and petting. How do I become a Club Member and what does that mean? Club Members are doggies who have stayed with us for a total of 30 days (or more) over the course of a year. After your dog has stayed with us for that length of time, you will receive special perks. Your dog will receive a special gift on their birthday. We even have perks for you from time-to-time. (We know you actually pay the bills.) You will also receive invitations to join us for special events. Of course, the more members, the merrier. Can I visit my dog while they are on vacation at Cali’s Clubhouse? Absolutely, but please be sure to make an appointment. We also encourage you to plan some extra time to sit, have refreshments, and enjoy the ocean sounds and view whenever possible. What other services do you provide? Our first priority is to the health and welfare of your pet. We would be happy to provide your pet with a bath before leaving the Clubhouse. Be sure to schedule a time so your sweetie is sweet smelling when you arrive for pick-up. A bath and nail trim will be provided for a $25 fee. Do you provide transportation for our dog? Transportation services may be available. Talk to us about your needs and how we can meet them. Fees will apply. **We always welcome your suggestions. If we find that a desired service is needed, we will certainly consider adding it. |
